Japan Nuclear Energy: Status, Prospects, Issues

  • DATE: August 20, 2020
  • TIME: 20:30 (JST)
  • PLACE: Online

Japan’s nuclear industry was thrown into turmoil after the 2011 disaster at the Fukushima Dai-Ichi Nuclear Power Plant. After several years almost without operating, reactors started to get permission to restart under a stricter regulatory regime. However, that momentum stalled again in 2018.

In our webinar, we examine what is the current status of Japan’s nuclear reactors, what is the industry’s potential and the challenges, and what do we expect to happen in this space over the next couple of years.
